What you can Expect at a training

A welcoming and inclusive environment.
We value people in all our beautiful diversity! Please feel free to bring a snack, stand up or move during the training, take breaks when you need them, and take care of yourself in whatever way makes the most sense for you.

Facilitators who meet you where you're at.
Whether you come in with some previous knowledge or none at all, our facilitators are skilled at cultivating environments that everyone can take something away from.

Lots of opportunities to ask questions.
This is the perfect place to ask any questions you may have about LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences - it's what we're here for! While our facilitators reserve the right to reject questions asked in bad faith, we welcome productive conversations.

Info and data on a local to national scale.
We're ready to share information and answer questions about issues pertaining to our local community, as well as nationally. While things are changing constantly in this challenging political climate, we do our best to keep on top of current news impacting queer and trans rights.

Actionable and meaningful ways to engage in allyship.
You'll leave equipped with ideas for specific things you can do to affirm, support, and advocate for queer and trans people in your life.
